If paying by check, please send your payment to me at: John Roche 158 Heberton Rd Rochester, NY 14622 Tax Deductions:Contributions to AESA are tax-deductible in the U.S. However, the portion of your dues that covers the cost of an RM subscription is not considered a contribution. Hence, in order to figure out your contribution, you will have to deduct the cost of an RM sub from your dues payment. AESA pays Routledge $32 per year for regular subs, and $26 per year for student subs. So, if you pay dues to AESA at the sustainer rate of $300, you will be able to deduct $268 for tax purposes. The IRS requires that if you deduct a lump-sum contribution of $250 or more, you obtain an acknowledgement letter from the organization. I will be glad to send an acknowledgement letter to anyone who makes a lump-sum contribution of $250 or more.
